This marks the third consecutive year that Mowilex has received this recognition, placing them among an elite group of just 1,300 global companies.
The award acknowledges Mowilex’s outstanding performance across various key areas, including strategy, innovation, culture, and governance. Since winning its previous Deloitte award in 2023, Mowilex has continued to expand its environmental, social, and governance (ESG) initiatives. The company, which became Indonesia’s first certified carbon neutral manufacturer in 2019, achieved its fifth consecutive carbon neutral certification in late 2023. Key to Mowilex’s sustainable practices is the inauguration of a new Cikande production plant in 2023. This state-of-the-art facility incorporates a zero-waste water system for domestic wastewater, along with skylights and advanced technologies, resulting in a significant reduction in electricity consumption. Additionally, solar panels installed at the Mowilex headquarters have reduced the facility’s carbon emissions by 22% in 2023.
Beyond operational efficiencies, Mowilex also supports various offset projects that contribute to achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. The company’s commitment to environmental responsibility has earned them further recognition, including a 2024 Top Brand Award for strong brand performance and customer loyalty, as well as Frost & Sullivan’s Indonesian Company of the Year Award in 2024.
