UGC NET 2024 Exam Schedule Revised: 26th August Exam Moved to 27th August

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced a slight change to the schedule for the upcoming UGC NET June 2024 exam. The exam, which is set to be conducted in a Computer-Based Test (CBT) format across various cities in India, was originally scheduled to run from August 21st to September 4th, covering 83 subjects.

However, the exam originally planned for August 26th has been moved to August 27th. This change was made to accommodate the festival of Shri Krishna Janmashtami, which falls on August 26th.

The rest of the exam schedule remains unchanged, with the exam window still spanning from August 21st to September 4th.

Candidates are advised to visit the official NTA websites, https://ugcnet.nta.ac.in and www.nta.ac.in, for the latest updates. The notification regarding the intimation of the exam city centre is already available on these websites.

It’s important to note that the examination city intimation slip, which was released on August 12th, is not the admit card. It provides advance information about the city where the candidate’s examination center will be located, helping them with travel arrangements and preparation. The actual admit card for the UGC NET June 2024 exam will be issued at a later date.

Candidates facing difficulties in downloading or checking their examination city intimation slip can contact the NTA at 011-40759000 or via email at ugcnet@nta.ac.in.

For the latest updates and further information, candidates should regularly visit the official NTA websites.
