Vistara Flight Makes Priority Landing in Mumbai Due to Technical Issue

A Vistara flight operating from Delhi to Mumbai experienced a minor technical issue shortly before landing on Wednesday, August 14, 2024. As a precaution, the pilots requested a priority landing at Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport. The aircraft, carrying approximately 165 passengers and seven crew members, landed safely at 12:29 pm.

The flight, identified as UK 995, departed from Delhi Airport at 10:49 am and was operated by an Airbus A320 Neo. Vistara confirmed that all passengers disembarked the aircraft safely and that the aircraft is currently undergoing inspection before resuming operations.

While the airline did not disclose the specific nature of the technical issue, their statement emphasized that it was considered minor and that the pilots acted swiftly to ensure the safety of all onboard.
