These vehicles, based on the iconic British sports cars from the 1960s and 1970s, are specifically designed for the US market. The launch signifies a significant step for RBW, as these are the first production models built with the American market in mind. The debut of the RBW GT marks another milestone, as it is the first appearance of the EV coupe model, originally designed by the legendary Italian design firm, PininFarina.
From August 15th to 18th, attendees at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance can experience these vehicles firsthand at RBW’s exhibit in Concours Village. The English-themed display provides an immersive experience, allowing visitors to touch and feel the EVs, learn about RBW and its models, and explore interactive touch-screen kiosks and exclusive video footage. The RBW GT, with its Italian design, is a performance-inspired, classic British sports car brought into the electric era. RBW’s patented EV subframe maintains the classic GT’s rear-wheel drive and near-perfect 50/50 weight balance, resulting in an unforgettable driving experience. This two-door coupe, a version of the RBW Roadster, is set to receive a faster powertrain next year, aiming to reduce its 0-60 mph time to under 8 seconds. Meanwhile, the RBW Roadster now features left-hand drive, catering to US customers and allowing them to experience the quintessential British driving tour with a range of up to 160 miles.
