Elon Musk Gives Thumbs Up to Happy Dad’s Cybertruck Fleet

Beverage company Happy Dad has added another Cybertruck to its fleet, bringing the total number to five. The company’s President, John Shahidi, shared a photo of the newest Cybertruck, which is emblazoned with the Texas flag and Happy Dad’s logo. The truck is set to be deployed in Dallas, Texas.

Happy Dad, a California-based company that produces hard seltzer, has been a vocal supporter of Tesla’s Cybertruck. The company previously shared a video showcasing its fleet of Cybertrucks, including three with the Happy Dad logo and one in solid white.

Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla, responded to the photo of the Texas-themed Cybertruck with a simple ‘Cool’. This interaction highlights the growing popularity of the Cybertruck, particularly in its home state of Texas. Musk himself moved Tesla’s headquarters to Texas in 2021, citing disagreements with California’s regulations.

Tesla began delivering the Cybertruck, known for its unique design and high price point, in late November 2023. In the second quarter of 2024, Tesla sold 8,755 Cybertrucks in the U.S., a significant increase from the 2,803 sold in the first quarter. Musk has indicated that Tesla aims to sell 250,000 Cybertrucks annually starting in 2025, making it a more common sight on American roads.

The Cybertruck has already gained a celebrity status, with several high-profile individuals taking delivery of the vehicle. Among these owners are Justin Bieber, Jay-Z and Beyonce, Serena Williams, and Lady Gaga. The combination of its unconventional design, hefty price tag, and limited availability has contributed to its celebrity appeal.
