Raksha Bandhan, celebrated on the full moon day of the Hindu lunar month of Shravana (usually August), is a significant festival in India. The core theme revolves around the unbreakable bond between brothers and sisters, symbolizing protection, love, and respect. The festival has deep roots in Hindu tradition, with various mythological and historical stories associated with it. One prominent tale narrates the story of Goddess Lakshmi tying a rakhi to King Bali for protection and prosperity, solidifying the importance of the festival in Indian culture.
