Beyoncé Launches Luxury Whiskey Brand ‘SirDavis’ in Collaboration with LVMH

Beyoncé Knowles-Carter, the iconic singer and performer, is expanding her empire into the world of luxury spirits. She has teamed up with LVMH, the multinational luxury goods conglomerate, to launch her new whiskey brand, SirDavis. The name is a tribute to her great-grandfather, Davis Hogue, a farmer who famously concealed whiskey bottles during the Prohibition era in the South.

Beyoncé shared her personal connection to the brand, stating, “Discovering that my great-grandfather was a moonshine man made me feel like my love for whiskey was destined. SirDavis allows me to honor him, creating a new shared legacy.”

This marks the first spirit brand fully developed in the U.S. by Moët Hennessy, LVMH’s luxury wine and spirits division. SirDavis boasts a unique blend of 51% rye and 49% malted barley, aged in sherry casks, resulting in a complex and sophisticated taste profile.

The whiskey, bottled in Beyoncé’s hometown of Houston, will be available for pre-order through the official SirDavis website. It will hit store shelves in September, priced at $89 per bottle.

Beyoncé’s venture into the spirits industry follows her recent political activity. Earlier this month, she pledged a $4 million donation to Vice President Kamala Harris’s presidential campaign. The connection between the two is undeniable, as Harris has been using a Beyoncé song in her campaign. The singer’s endorsement and potential fundraising appearance could be a significant factor in the upcoming election.
