The rumor mill surrounding the Samsung Galaxy S25 is already churning, and leaker Ice Universe has added fuel to the fire with exciting new details about the upcoming flagship phone. According to Ice Universe, the S25 Ultra will boast a smaller overall size compared to its predecessor, the S24 Ultra. The new phone is expected to measure 77.6mm across, a slight decrease from the 79mm width of the S24 Ultra. Despite this reduction in size, the S25 Ultra will feature a larger screen thanks to slimmer bezels. The screen size is rumored to gain 0.07 inches diagonally and 0.7mm in width, even with the reduced body size.
This trend of smaller bezels and larger screens is evident in the smartphone market, with the upcoming iPhone 16 Pro Max also rumored to have a similar size and even thinner bezels.
While the Galaxy S25 Ultra might be slightly smaller in stature, it’s not sacrificing performance. Ice Universe previously revealed that the S25 Ultra will receive a significant RAM boost, along with a 5,000mAh battery and 45-watt fast charging capabilities. The rumored 4GB RAM increase, bringing the total to 16GB, promises a smoother and faster user experience, allowing apps to load in a flash.
While Samsung is unlikely to unveil any details about the new Galaxy S series until 2025, the early leaks paint a promising picture. We can’t wait to see what else emerges in the coming months as we inch closer to the official release.
