NTA UGC NET June 2024 Exam City Slip Released: Download Now

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the release of the subject-wise exam city intimation slip for the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) June 2024 session. The exam is scheduled to be held on August 27, 2024. Candidates who have successfully submitted their online application forms can now download their exam city slip from the official NTA website, ugcnet.nta.ac.in.

The NTA notification states that the advance intimation for the allotment of examination city for UGC-NET June 2024 is now available. Candidates are advised to download their Examination City Intimation Slip using their Application Number and Date of Birth. The slip contains crucial information about the exam venue, allowing students to plan their travel and accommodation arrangements before the exam.

How to Download the Exam City Slip:

1. Visit the official NTA UGC NET website: ugcnet.nta.ac.in
2. Click on the link for the UGC-NET June 2024 Examination City Intimation Slip.
3. Enter your Application Number and Date of Birth.
4. The exam city slip will be displayed on the screen.
5. Download and print a copy of the slip for future reference.

Important Information:

* Candidates must carefully check their photo, signature, and QR code on the City Intimation slip. If any of these are missing, they should immediately re-download the slip.

UGC NET June 2024 Exam Pattern:

The UGC NET June 2024 exam will be conducted in a Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. The exam pattern consists of two papers: Paper 1 and Paper 2. The total duration for both papers is three hours. Both papers include objective-type multiple-choice questions (MCQs). Paper 1 contains 50 questions and Paper 2 contains 100 questions, totaling 150 questions. There is no negative marking in the exam.

The NTA is scheduled to conduct the UGC-NET June 2024 Exam for 83 subjects in various cities across India between August 21 and September 4, 2024.

It’s important to remember that the UGC NET June 2024 exam was initially scheduled for June 18 and conducted in pen and paper format. However, the exam was canceled due to concerns about potential exam integrity issues. After investigation, it was confirmed that the exam paper was not leaked, and the NTA has rescheduled the exam for August 27 in CBT mode.
