Kangana Ranaut Acquires Office Space in Mumbai, Investments Continue Amidst Political Drama

Kangana Ranaut, the Bollywood actress and BJP MP, has made another significant real estate investment, this time in Mumbai. According to property registration documents cited by Propstack, she purchased a 407 square foot office space in Andheri for ₹1.56 crore. The office, located on the 19th floor of Arch One building, was acquired at a rate of ₹38,391 per square foot on carpet area. The transaction took place on August 23, 2024, and involved a stamp duty payment of ₹9.37 lakh and a registration fee of ₹30,000. The property was purchased from Chandra Gupta Estates Private Limited.

This latest acquisition adds to Ranaut’s existing real estate portfolio. In May 2024, she declared total assets worth over ₹91 crore, including ₹28.7 crore in movable assets and ₹62.9 crore in immovable assets.

Ranaut’s real estate ventures come amidst her active involvement in Indian politics. She recently unveiled the first track, ‘Singhasan Khali Karo’, from her upcoming political drama ‘Emergency’. This song, set against the backdrop of the Emergency imposed in India in 1975, encapsulates the spirit of rebellion and the fight for democracy.

‘Emergency’ features Ranaut as former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. The film, slated for release next month, explores the tumultuous period of Indian history marked by political upheaval and social unrest.

Ranaut’s foray into politics and her subsequent film choices reflect a growing interest in exploring themes of power, freedom, and societal change. Her latest real estate investment, while seemingly a personal matter, further underlines her active presence in both the entertainment and political spheres.
