Minnesota GOP Senator Sounds Alarm on Walz’s ‘Radical’ Agenda and Vice Presidential Qualifications

Minnesota State Senator Mark Koran, a Republican, has expressed serious concerns about Gov. Tim Walz’s political agenda and his qualifications to serve as vice president. In an interview with Fox News Digital, Koran argued that Walz’s record as governor demonstrates a radical left-wing ideology that is detrimental to both Minnesota and the nation.

Koran highlighted several key issues, starting with Walz’s handling of the Minneapolis riots following the death of George Floyd in 2020. He criticized Walz’s decision to delay deploying the National Guard during the unrest, arguing that it allowed the situation to escalate and cause significant damage. He pointed out that when the National Guard was finally deployed, they lacked clear direction from Walz, adding to the chaos.

Koran further criticized Walz’s COVID-19 policies, specifically the stringent lockdowns and the controversial tip line encouraging neighbors to report each other for violating restrictions. He argued that the policies were overly restrictive and did not align with the available data. He also condemned Walz’s refusal to share data with legislators, claiming it hindered their ability to effectively represent their constituents.

Beyond these specific issues, Koran voiced concerns about Walz’s support for proxy voting, which he believes undermines democratic representation. He argued that allowing legislators to vote without physically attending sessions weakens the voice of Minnesota voters and concentrates power in the hands of the Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party (DFL).

Koran concluded by emphasizing that Walz’s overall agenda is out of touch with the values of Minnesota voters and the country as a whole. He expressed concern that Walz’s progressive policies, if implemented on a national level, would threaten fundamental American freedoms and principles.

The Harris-Walz campaign did not respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment on these allegations.
