Outcrop Silver Announces High-Grade Silver Intercepts at Aguilar Vein Discovery

Outcrop Silver & Gold Corporation (OCG, OCGS, MRG), operating under the name Outcrop Silver, is excited to announce the discovery of additional high-grade silver intercepts at the Aguilar vein. This discovery is located 5 kilometers south of the existing resource at the Santa Ana project in Colombia. Recent drill holes have consistently confirmed the presence of high-grade silver along the main Aguilar vein and along newly discovered parallel veins, which don’t outcrop at the surface.

To complement these exciting findings, Outcrop Silver has intensified its exploration efforts. The company currently has two active drill rigs in operation, one dedicated to the Aguilar vein and the other exploring new targets like Guadual and Jimenez. The company’s regional target generation programs are also being expanded. These strategic initiatives form the core of Outcrop’s 2024 exploration strategy, aiming to significantly expand the existing resource and uncover new growth opportunities along the 30-kilometer vein corridor at the Santa Ana project.

The latest drill results are truly remarkable. Hole DH373 intercepted 1.18 meters of 1,035 grams per tonne of silver equivalent on the Aguilar vein. Hole DH385 intercepted 0.71 meters of 1,081 grams per tonne of silver equivalent on the Aguilar HW vein, confirming the extension of Aguilar HW at depth and towards the north.

The Aguilar vein has now been confirmed for 285 meters along strike within the 1.8-kilometer corridor. The vein system exhibits multiple veins and remains open in all directions, indicating substantial potential for further discoveries.

Ian Harris, President and CEO of Outcrop Silver, shared his enthusiasm about the results: “In 2024, Outcrop Silver isn’t just drilling; we’re strategically executing a vision to unlock the vast potential of the Santa Ana project. Our recent drilling at the Aguilar vein system exemplifies this strategy. The consistent discovery of high-grade silver over an extended strike length, across multiple veins, solidifies Aguilar’s status as a cornerstone of our ambitious exploration plans. As we venture beyond the known resources and explore new targets, every successful drill hole at Aguilar brings us closer to dramatically scaling our resource base. This commitment to meticulous and scientific exploration is how we plan to deliver significant value to our shareholders.”

Guillermo Hernandez, Vice President of Exploration, added: “The Aguilar vein system continues to reveal its immense potential in recent drilling. It’s captivating to see additional veins emerge in the core with high grades along the step-outs we’re conducting. We recognized the prospectiveness of this vein system, but every new drill hole unveils unexpected veins that will contribute to the success of the Santa Project.”

The ongoing drill campaign on the Aguilar vein continues to explore for high grades along strike and at depth. Outcrop’s surface exploration program has traced the Aguilar vein system for more than 550 meters, as part of the 1.8-kilometer Aguilar-Guadual vein zone. Drilling at the Aguilar vein has confirmed that the vein system extends for at least 285 meters along strike and 225 meters down dip, with all structures remaining open. This includes parallel and minor veins such as Aguilar North, Aguilar HW, and a newly discovered Aguilar FW vein. Two additional holes at Aguilar, DH386 and DH388, are currently awaiting assay results.

Outcrop Silver is committed to responsible mining practices and community engagement, aligning its operations with sustainable development principles. Their deep understanding of the Colombian mining landscape and track record of successful exploration position them to transform the Santa Ana project into a significant silver producer, contributing positively to the local economy and setting new standards in the mining industry.
