Scheduled for later this year, the awards are returning for their second edition, having been developed in collaboration with UN Tourism. This prestigious event aims to celebrate and recognize the exceptional efforts of businesses that deliver outstanding and unique tourism experiences within Qatar.
The Awards are dedicated to acknowledging the various factors that contribute to a visitor’s journey, recognizing those tourism businesses that consistently excel in customer service. This initiative seeks to inspire stakeholders involved in the tourism sector to continue developing and implementing extraordinary initiatives characterized by innovation, sustainability, accessibility, and top-notch service quality.
This year’s Qatar Tourism Awards will feature seven categories:

Honoring organizations and individuals who contribute to the development of the tourism sector and the local community.In a first for the Awards, the public will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite ‘Tourism Influencer (Content Creator) of the Year’ as part of the Digital Footprint category. Nominees for this category were carefully selected by the Qatar Tourism Awards Committee based on rigorous criteria evaluating each candidate’s contribution to advancing Qatar’s tourism industry. Voting concludes on September 9, 2024.
