Bureau Veritas Acquires ArcVera Renewables to Bolster Renewable Energy Expertise

Bureau Veritas, a global leader in testing, inspection, and certification services, has acquired ArcVera Renewables, a specialized provider of finance-grade consulting and technical services for wind, solar, and battery storage projects worldwide. This acquisition aligns perfectly with Bureau Veritas’s LEAP | 28 strategy, which aims to create a dominant position in the burgeoning renewable energy sector. Bureau Veritas is dedicated to supporting the energy transition by providing comprehensive solutions for power sector customers, enabling them to navigate the challenges of developing and operating renewable assets. This acquisition will expand Bureau Veritas’s capabilities, particularly in North America, to support landowners, developers, owners, and investors in bringing their wind and solar farm projects to fruition.

ArcVera Renewables offers customers advanced technical site and resource assessments, providing valuable consultancy during the development and operational phases of utility-scale renewable projects. Their team of engineers, technical specialists, and subject matter experts helps clients mitigate risks and ensure optimal asset performance. Since its inception, ArcVera Renewables has supported 9GW of solar projects in North and South America and evaluated projects representing 93,000 MW of wind capacity in the United States. In 2023, ArcVera Renewables generated €6.5 million in revenue and is headquartered in Golden, Colorado.
