Gigi Hadid’s New Collaboration Brings Caviar Kaspia’s Luxury to Your Wardrobe

Caviar Kaspia, the century-old Parisian restaurant renowned for its exquisite caviar-laden dishes, has always been a magnet for the fashionable elite. From Rihanna’s Vogue interview at 4 a.m. to Beyonce’s regular patronage and the constant stream of designers during couture week, the restaurant is synonymous with luxury and style. Now, supermodel Gigi Hadid is further cementing this association with her latest venture.

This month, Hadid launches a limited-edition collaboration between her cashmere brand, Guest in Residence, and Caviar Kaspia. The collection features sweaters adorned with the restaurant’s signature emerald color and playful interpretations of Piscean motifs, a nod to the restaurant’s luxurious atmosphere. This bold, playful statement reflects a growing trend in fashion—a shift away from the muted tones of stealth wealth towards a more vibrant expression of personal style.

Hadid explains her inspiration, stating, “Caviar Kaspia’s signature caviar tins are so iconic—anyone who knows me, knows I love color and I wanted to translate the richness of the mosaics into a colorful fun cozy cashmere sweater.” She adds, “Timeless need not be boring—look at Caviar Kaspia. Each time I put on these sweaters, I’m reminded of how iconic Caviar Kaspia is.”

Hadid is not the first fashion world figure to collaborate with Caviar Kaspia. In 2011, Giambattista Valli designed a limited-edition tin, and in 2014, Olympia Le Tan crafted a Caviar Kaspia-inspired clutch. In 2022, Off-White launched its own line of Caviar Kaspia sweatshirts, which have since become highly sought-after items on the secondary market.

This collaboration is just another example of the growing trend of hospitality-inspired fashion. Frame has launched successful collaborations with the Ritz Paris and the Carlyle Hotel in New York. Emilia Wickstead has created custom-print dresses for Passalacqua in Lake Como, while Coach has produced leather totes in partnership with gourmet grocery store Zabar’s.

This trend suggests that personal style is evolving into a reflection of personal lifestyle. The Guest in Residence x Caviar Kaspia sweaters, priced at $750, are available for pre-order online at caviarkaspia.com and will be sold at the restaurant’s New York and Paris locations.
