Four Seasons Hualalai Hosts 26th Annual Run for Hope, Supporting Cancer Research

The Four Seasons Resort Hualalai, the only AAA Five Diamond and Forbes Five Star Resort on the island, is celebrating its 26th annual Run for Hope on September 6-7, 2024. This two-day event, filled with activities and festivities, is a testament to the resort’s commitment to supporting cancer research and giving back to the Hawaii community.

Since the first Terry Fox Run in 1980, Four Seasons hotels and resorts have dedicated themselves to this cause, and Hualalai proudly continues this tradition. The Run for Hope offers a diverse range of activities for all ages and interests, including a 5K and 10K run/walk, a keiki dash for children, tennis, pickleball, and golf tournaments.

“We are incredibly proud to host the Run for Hope, in its 26th year here at Hualalai,” says Charlie Parker, Regional Vice President and General Manager of Four Seasons Resort Hualalai. “As stewards of this island, we are committed to giving back in many ways, including cancer research in coordination with Four Seasons worldwide.”

The festivities kick off on Friday, September 6, at 6:00 pm with the highly anticipated Taste of Hawaii Island culinary event. This event will showcase the culinary talents of chefs from across the islands, offering guests a unique opportunity to savor exceptional dishes and drinks. The evening will be further enhanced by live entertainment by Hawaiian artist Anuhea and her band, creating a vibrant and festive atmosphere. A silent auction, featuring unique vacation packages and local products, will also take place, offering guests a chance to support the cause while enjoying exciting bidding opportunities. Advance tickets for the Taste of Hawaii Island event are USD 125 for adults, USD 45 for children aged 5-12, and complimentary for children 4 and under.

On Saturday, September 7, the main event, the Run for Hope, begins at 7:00 am.
