Kohli, currently enjoying a break from the game and vacationing with his family in London, has reportedly paid a staggering Rs 66 crore in taxes. Following closely behind are MS Dhoni (Rs 38 crore) and Sachin Tendulkar (Rs 28 crore), completing the top three spots.
The list of celebrity taxpayers released by Fortune India also includes other cricketing legends like Sourav Ganguly, who paid Rs 23 crore in taxes, and Hardik Pandya (Rs 13 crore). Interestingly, the overall list is topped by Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, who is also the co-owner of the IPL franchise Kolkata Knight Riders. Shah Rukh has reportedly paid a whopping Rs 92 crore in taxes for the financial year 2023-24.
