The University of Delhi (DU) has announced a revision to the undergraduate admission upgrade round schedule. The deadline for accepting upgraded allocations for students admitted in Round 1 and Round 2 has been extended.
Initially, the ‘acceptance’ window was set to close on September 4, 2024, at 4:59 PM. However, the university has extended the deadline to September 5, 2024, at 4:59 PM. This extension allows students more time to accept their upgraded program and college combinations, which they could reorder based on their preferences.
The upgrade window opened on August 31 and closed on September 1, allowing candidates to apply for higher preference programs and colleges. The results of the upgrade process were announced on September 3.
The revised schedule requires selected colleges to verify and approve online applications by 4:59 PM on Friday, September 6. The university will accept admission fees online until 11:59 PM on the same day.
In addition to the extended upgrade deadline, the university has introduced a Mid-Entry provision for students who missed the initial application phases of the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) 2024. This provision will allow students who did not apply in Phase I or failed to complete Phase II to apply for admission. The Mid-Entry application portal will open on Saturday, September 7, at 5:00 PM and will remain open until 4:59 PM on Monday, September 9. Applicants will be charged a non-refundable fee of ₹ 1000. The list of vacant seats will be displayed at 5:00 PM on Saturday, September 7.
The Third Round of CSAS allocations, which includes Round-II for Performance-Based Programs, CW (Children/Widows of Armed Forces Personnel), ECA (Extra-Curricular Activities), Sports, and Ward Quota, is scheduled to be announced at 5:00 PM on Wednesday, September 11.
