Former couple Whindersson Nunes and Maria Lina surprised a young fan named Enzo, who is facing a congenital heart condition. The pair traveled to the hospital in São Paulo where Enzo is hospitalized to wish him luck before his surgery scheduled for Thursday, September 5th. Maria Lina shared a photo of herself with Enzo and wrote, “Pray for Enzo. He’s going to have heart surgery and will come back stronger than ever.”
Enzo’s mother, Jaqueline Bussolo Orben, shared several photos and a video of the heartwarming encounter on Wednesday evening, September 4th. “What an incredible surprise to receive such a special visit! Thank you, @whinderssonnunes and @marialdgg for bringing joy and love to Enzo. He was so happy with the surprise, especially on the night before his surgery… Moments like these make all the difference!” she wrote.
The video captures the moment Whindersson and Maria enter Enzo’s room, bringing smiles and cheer to the young boy. Whindersson and Maria began dating in 2020 and welcomed their son, João Miguel, who was born prematurely at 22 weeks and passed away two days after birth in May 2021. The couple announced their separation in August of the same year.
On Tuesday, September 3rd, Maria Lina addressed being identified as Whindersson’s ex-fiancée on her Instagram. She explained that she doesn’t mind the association as it’s a part of her story and she has built her own identity. “I am proud of my story, and I’ve always been aware that I became known through a much bigger person. I am grateful, and I know that those who are here always and know me know that I have much to offer. People talk because that’s the reference they have of me. What’s the problem with that? I’m making my own story with a lot of humility and I don’t have any ego in relation to that,” she stated.
