Aldi’s New Ginger Parkins: A Chewy, Autumnal Treat

As the weather cools and autumn sets in, supermarkets are brimming with seasonal treats. Alongside the familiar pumpkin spice lattes and toffee apples, Aldi has introduced a new snack that’s already capturing hearts (and stomachs): Ginger Parkins.

These delightful biscuits, available for just £1.19 for a pack of six, are a creation of Peters Craft Bakery. They offer a unique flavor profile, combining the warm spices of parkin with the familiar crunch of a ginger nut biscuit.

Manchester Evening News reporter Emma Gill, after trying them herself, described the Ginger Parkins as a hit with her son: “He’s a big fan of ginger nuts, but likes the chewier consistency of these.” She also noted that they can be found in the bread aisle, nestled among the crumpets, bagels, and brioche.

But the Ginger Parkins aren’t the only new Aldi snack causing a stir. The supermarket chain has also brought back its popular Holly Lane Cookie Dough Mini Bites, which are part of a larger range that includes Caramel Crispy and Bubble Mint Rocky Road Mini Bites.

And for those with a sweet tooth, Aldi’s Dairyfine Blonde Chocolate has been a runaway success. This bar, available for £1.39 for a 160g size, boasts a taste reminiscent of the beloved Cadbury Caramilk. It’s been so popular that Aldi even released a Crispy Blonde version.

With these tempting treats hitting the shelves, Aldi is proving that autumn doesn’t have to be just about pumpkin spice. They’re offering a variety of delicious snacks that are sure to satisfy any craving.
