Oman to Host ‘Marhaba Dhofar’ Event to Boost Tourism Cooperation with Saudi Arabia

The Ministry of Heritage and Tourism in Oman has announced plans to host the ‘Marhaba Dhofar’ event, a strategic initiative designed to attract tourists from regional and international markets, particularly from Saudi Arabia. This event marks a significant step in promoting tourism in the Dhofar Governorate, known for its stunning natural beauty and cultural heritage.

Haitham bin Mohammed Al Ghassani, Director General of Tourism Promotion at the Ministry, highlighted the collaborative nature of the event, emphasizing the involvement of tourism sector partners from both Oman and Saudi Arabia. To foster this collaboration, the event is expected to bring together 50 prominent Saudi tourism companies and 15 influential media professionals from leading Saudi media outlets.
