Fashion week celebrations are often grand, crowded affairs, bustling with industry insiders. While exciting, they can also be overwhelming. In a refreshing departure from the usual, Rosetta Getty chose to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of her eponymous label with an intimate family gathering at her private Manhattan residence.
The event served as a warm and personal setting to showcase both Rosetta’s Spring 2025 collection and her daughter Violet Getty’s second collection. Guests were welcomed into Rosetta’s showroom, where they could preview the latest designs and even take home screen-printed T-shirts featuring Violet’s artistic vision.
The evening was a testament to family connection and the power of shared passion. Violet described her inspiration, stating, “With my printed shirts, I want people to see a different side of my mom because I think people are super curious about her—she likes to keep to herself—but I wanted people to see how cool she is.” She further expressed her gratitude for the close bond she shares with her mother, stating, “My mom and I have been so connected to fashion for so long, and we’ve been best friends forever, so bringing my collection to life has meant so much to me. Having her trust has meant the world, and I think she’s super happy and proud, which is all I really want.”
The gathering truly embodied the spirit of family and camaraderie. Guests like Ivy Getty, Julius Getty, Grace Getty, Harlow Arquette, and Frankie Stark mingled on the terrace, enjoying Agua Magica mezcal cocktails, Rosetta’s own virgin mojito, cold beer, and lively music spun by Arman Nafeei. The atmosphere was one of joy and celebration, a true testament to the deep connection and shared love within the Getty family.
