Off-White’s Spring/Summer 2025 Show Takes Over Brooklyn Bridge Park

This weekend, Brooklyn Bridge Park transformed into a runway as Off-White unveiled its spring/summer 2025 collection. The event drew a crowd of celebrities, fashion industry insiders, and unsuspecting park-goers, who found themselves navigating a sea of black cars and stylish pedestrians.

Vogue’s Lisa Aiken encountered neighbors taking their daughter to a vintage bus show under the Brooklyn Bridge, a stark contrast to the fashion-forward spectacle unfolding in the park. Ib Kamara, the creative director behind the show, turned the basketball courts into a high-fashion runway, even covering the blackboards with the Off-White logo.

The collection itself was a mix of strong-shouldered outerwear, diaphanous skirts, and sportswear-inspired separates. The front row was a who’s who of celebrities, with Flavor Flav, Issa Rae, and Mary J Blige among the attendees. From between Frances Tiafoe and Anna Wintour’s heads, Zayn Malik was seen chatting with Camila Cabello. Tiafoe wasn’t the only athlete in attendance; US Open winner Aryna Sabalenka and Olympic gymnast Suni Lee were also spotted among the crowd. Alessandra Ambrosio, adorned in a bejewelled net hoodie, chatted with Derek Blasberg, who sported the viral camo Harris-Walz baseball cap.

Even the runway itself was a spectacle. Julez Smith, Solange’s son and a rising star in the fashion world, strutted down the catwalk to a powerful beat. The show’s energy was palpable, with attendees rushing to catch the US Open men’s final or indulge in a leisurely lunch after the event.

The influx of fashionable attendees understandably confused some of the regular park-goers. While some simply marveled at the outlandish attire, others, like a man riding an electric unicycle with two dogs, weren’t so amused. “Bike lane, bike lane, thank you, f*ck off!” he yelled at the stylish pedestrians, who ultimately dispersed back to Manhattan. The Off-White show served as a reminder that fashion can transform even the most mundane of places, leaving a lasting impression on both the attendees and the unsuspecting park-goers alike.
