Pan Global Intersects High-Grade Copper at La Romana, Expanding Near-Surface Mineralization in Southern Spain

Pan Global Resources Inc. (TSXV: PGZ | OTCQX: PGZFF | FRA: 2EU) is thrilled to announce significant drill results from the ongoing exploration program at its 100%-owned Escacena Project in southern Spain. The focus of this program is the La Romana copper-tin-silver (Cu-Sn-Ag) discovery, a promising open-pit target with exceptional potential for expanding known mineralization.

The latest results, which include three additional holes, showcase compelling near-surface copper intersections.

Drillhole LRD181

intersected a significant 18.0m at 1.24% CuEq (1.14% Cu, 0.03% Sn, 2.6 g/t Ag) from 69m, including a remarkable 5.0m at 3.51% CuEq (3.33% Cu, 0.06% Sn, 6.8 g/t Ag).
*

Drillhole LRD183

encountered a promising 9.0m at 1.31% CuEq (1.27% Cu, 0.01% Sn, 2.7 g/t Ag) from 103m, with a standout 2.0m at 5.12% CuEq (5.0% Cu, 0.02% Sn, 10.7 g/t Ag).

Drillhole LRD182

revealed a 7.25m at 0.92% CuEq (0.81% Cu, 0.03% Sn, 2.5g/t Ag) from 132.75m, including 4.0m at 1.42% CuEq (1.29% Cu, 0.04% Sn, 3.8 g/t Ag).

These results confirm the continuity of high-grade Cu-Sn-Ag mineralization at La Romana and its openness towards the west. Drillhole LRD181, boasting an exceptional 18m intercept of 1.24% CuEq, represents one of the most impressive results achieved in the current 25-hole drill program. The new drillholes, spaced 40-50 meters apart, demonstrate the potential to expand the high-grade copper mineralization further.

The La Romana mineralization now spans 1.5km east-west and exhibits considerable upside potential for expansion. Tim Moody, President & CEO of Pan Global, emphasizes the importance of these discoveries: “These drill results from La Romana are very encouraging, confirming the near-surface Cu-Sn-Ag mineralization continues and is open to the west. The new holes are 40-to-50 meters from the next nearest holes and highlight potential to extend the higher-grade copper mineralization with further step-outs. The La Romana mineralization now spans 1.5km east-west, and shows significant upside potential for further expansion.”

This recent exploration program constitutes a significant step towards understanding the full potential of La Romana. The ongoing 25-hole resource delineation program is designed to fully define the extent of the western extension of the La Romana deposit. With three more holes remaining in the current program, Pan Global anticipates an expansion of drilling activities in the future.

Investors are invited to join a webcast on Wednesday, September 18, 2024, at 1 p.m. Eastern Time / 10 a.m. Pacific Time, to hear CEO Tim Moody discuss progress at the Escacena Project. A Q&A session will follow a short presentation. The Escacena Project encompasses a large, contiguous land package of 5.760 hectares, strategically located in the east of the Iberian Pyrite Belt, a well-established mining region. This project, home to the La Romana and Cañada Honda discoveries, offers a diverse range of prospective targets, promising future exploration successes.

Pan Global Resources Inc. is committed to responsible mining practices, dedicated to environmental protection and fostering positive relationships with local communities. Their focus on copper-rich mineral deposits aligns with the growing demand for this critical metal in the global transition to renewable energy.
