Travelsoft, a global leader in travel software-as-a-service (SaaS), has appointed Mike Wright as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of its portfolio company, The Atcore Group, effective October 1, 2024. With over two decades of experience at The Atcore Group, Wright has been a driving force behind the success of its industry-leading reservation and distribution platforms, ATCOM and Tigerbay. These platforms are instrumental in streamlining operations for major global travel players like TUI, easyJet holidays, and DERTOUR Group.
Throughout his career at Atcore, Wright has held various leadership roles, playing a key part in facilitating over 23 million holidays and over £20 billion in annual bookings. His deep understanding of Atcore’s operations, combined with his extensive expertise in travel technology, makes him the ideal candidate to guide the company into its next phase of growth and innovation.

Wright is taking over from Dave Cruickshank, who is stepping down to pursue new opportunities outside the company. Cruickshank played a crucial role in leading The Atcore Group through a period of significant expansion and was instrumental in overseeing the company’s acquisition by Travelsoft.
