India’s Top Schools Ranked in 16 Categories: Noida’s Step by Step Takes the Lead

A comprehensive survey conducted by Cfore has unveiled the top-ranking schools in India across 16 different categories. This nationwide assessment, covering 92 cities, aimed to establish quality standards and promote best practices within the education sector.

The survey revealed that Noida’s Step by Step school emerged as the best co-ed day school in India, while Bengaluru’s The Valley School and Gurugram’s Heritage Xperiential Learning School secured the second and third spots respectively.

In the best boys’ day school category, Mumbai’s Campion School claimed the top position, followed by Chandigarh’s St Johns High School and Pune’s The Bishops School.

Mumbai’s The JB Petit High School for Girls topped the list for best girls’ day schools, followed by Chandigarh’s Sacred Heart Sr Sec School and Jodhpur’s Rajmata Krishna Kumari Girls Public School.

Delhi’s Tamana Autism Centre – School of Hope took the lead in the special needs school category, followed by Chennai’s Sankalp and Mumbai’s S.P.J. Sadhana School.

Mumbai’s Dhirubhai Ambani International School was crowned as the best day school (with International Curriculum) across India, with Mumbai’s Oberoi International School closely trailing behind.

The Cfore survey emphasized its goal of promoting healthy competition among schools, while providing valuable information to stakeholders. The objective was to identify quality benchmarks and share best practices.

The survey, conducted between March and July this year, evaluated schools based on 14 key parameters. These parameters were assessed on a ten-point scale, with varying weightage given to each criterion.

The survey focused on key parameters such as teacher competence and relationship, pedagogy and relevant curriculum, leadership, teacher care and growth environment, and personalized education.

Other significant factors considered included academic rigour, sports, co-curricular activities, parents’ participation and education, infrastructure and facilities, return on investment, life skills, social engagement, hostel facilities, pastoral care, and placements.
