The Karnataka pavilion, officially opened by the Indian Ambassador to France, Mr. Jawed Ashraf, along with dignitaries from the Indian Embassy and senior representatives from the Karnataka delegation, drew considerable interest from the global travel trade sector.
Leading the delegation was Dr. Rajendra K.V., Director of the Department of Tourism for the Government of Karnataka, accompanied by Ms. Salma K Fahim, Secretary of the Department of Tourism, Mr. Srinivas, Chairman of Karnataka State Tourism Development Corporation (KSTDC), and Mr. Ratnakar H.T., Tourism & Hospitality Advisor for Jungle Lodges & Resorts. The pavilion was a platform to highlight Karnataka’s unique tourism offerings, encompassing UNESCO World Heritage Sites, serene wildlife sanctuaries, thrilling adventure tourism, and eco-friendly initiatives. The ancient city of Hampi, the scenic beauty of Coorg, and the vibrant energy of Bengaluru, all received enthusiastic responses from travel professionals and visitors alike.
