The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced a change in the exam date for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2024. Due to administrative reasons, the exam will now be held on
December 15th, 2024 (Sunday)

, in cities where the number of candidates is high.It is important to note that the online application process for the CTET December 2024 exam is already open and will continue until
October 16th, 2024, at 11:59 PM

136 cities across the country
, a decrease from the 184 cities that hosted the July edition of the exam.
CTET 2024 Examination Schedule:
The CTET 2024 exam will be conducted in two shifts:

Morning shift (9:30 AM to 12:00 PM)*
Paper I:
Evening shift (2:30 PM to 5:00 PM)

General/OBC(NCL) category candidates:
₹ 1000 for one paper (Paper I or II) and ₹ 1200 for both papers (Paper I and II).*
SC/ST/Diff. Abled Person category candidates:
₹ 500 for one paper and ₹ 600 for both papers.
CTET Registration 2024: How to Apply Online:
Candidates must ensure they enter their personal information, such as name, father’s name, mother’s name, and date of birth, as per their Class Xth Certificate. No changes to this information will be accepted after the deadline for online corrections.
