Indian Passport Portal Temporarily Closed for Maintenance in Abu Dhabi

The Indian Embassy in Abu Dhabi has announced a temporary closure of its online passport service portal due to scheduled technical maintenance. This closure will affect all passport and related services, including emergency ‘Tatkaal’ passports and police clearance certificates, both at the Embassy and all BLS International centers across the UAE. The portal will be inaccessible from 6:30 PM on September 20, Friday, until 4:30 AM on September 24, Monday.

Individuals with passport appointments scheduled for September 21 will be provided with revised appointment dates between September 23 and September 27. If the new date is inconvenient, they can visit any BLS center after the revised appointment date to submit their passport applications as walk-ins without requiring a separate appointment.

While passport services are suspended, it’s important to note that other consular and visa services will continue to be offered at all BLS centers in the UAE on September 21.

The Indian Embassy and BLS International centers apologize for any inconvenience caused by this temporary suspension of passport services. They emphasize that the maintenance is essential to ensure the continued smooth functioning of the passport portal and to provide efficient services in the future.
