Siddhant Chaturvedi and Raghav Juyal’s much-anticipated action thriller, ‘Yudhra,’ has made a strong start at the box office, raking in an estimated ₹8.60 crore in its first three days of release. This promising debut is a testament to the film’s action-packed narrative and the star power of Siddhant Chaturvedi, who rose to fame with his role as MC Sher in Zoya Akhtar’s ‘Gully Boy.’
The film witnessed a significant jump in earnings on its third day, bringing in an estimated ₹2.35 crore, which represents a 36.57% increase from the previous day’s collection of ₹1.45 crore. This upward trend suggests that audiences are drawn to the movie’s high-octane action and thrilling storyline.
‘Yudhra’ boasts a strong opening day collection of ₹4.5 crore, even exceeding expectations on National Cinema Day. Notably, the movie garnered a significant 46.54% Hindi occupancy on its first day, with the night shows achieving the highest occupancy at 75.67%.
‘Yudhra,’ directed by Ravi Udyawar and produced by Excel Entertainment, features Malavika Mohanan alongside Siddhant Chaturvedi and Raghav Juyal in key roles.
The film marks Siddhant Chaturvedi’s first solo hero action film, with the actor also gearing up for his intense upcoming project, ‘Dhadak 2.’ The romantic drama sequel is reportedly only borrowing the title from the 2018 film ‘Dhadak,’ which was the Hindi remake of the Marathi blockbuster ‘Sairat.’
Siddhant Chaturvedi’s upcoming projects include ‘Dhadak 2,’ directed by Shazia Iqbal, where he will share the screen with Triptii Dimri. The film is produced by Dharma Productions, Zee Studios, and Cloud 9 Pictures. ‘Yudhra’ is currently making waves in theatres, with its promising box office numbers indicating a positive response from audiences.
