Emirates Expands Premium Economy and Refurbished Boeing 777s Across US Routes

Get ready for an elevated travel experience as Emirates prepares to launch its revamped Boeing 777s on six routes across the United States. The new aircraft will feature the airline’s latest Business Class seats and the much-anticipated Premium Economy, offering a luxurious and comfortable journey for passengers in all cabins.

Starting next month and continuing through early 2025, the retrofitted Boeing 777s will begin service on direct flights to Chicago, Boston, Dallas Fort Worth, and Seattle. Additionally, routes to Miami via Bogotá and to Newark through Athens will also feature the refreshed aircraft, equipped with Emirates’ four-class cabin layout and signature amenities.

By February 2025, ten of Emirates’ twelve US gateways will offer the Premium Economy experience, as will two cities in Latin America, with Bogotá joining São Paulo. This expansion will bring Emirates’ renowned Premium Economy to 12 destinations across its 19-city network in the Americas, served by a combination of Boeing 777 and A380 aircraft.

The upgraded Boeing 777s also feature the new Emirates Business Class, arranged in a 1-2-1 layout, providing more privacy and amenities like fully flat beds and personal mini-bars. Globally, the rollout of Emirates’ refreshed aircraft with four-class configurations will bring Premium Economy to 27 cities, including Dubai, by the end of 2024. A total of 48 Boeing 777, A380, and A350 aircraft will be utilized for these routes.

In addition to the US and Latin American destinations, passengers can already experience the refurbished Boeing 777s on routes to Geneva, Tokyo Haneda, and Brussels. Zurich and Riyadh will follow next month. This extensive rollout allows US travelers to experience the luxury and comfort of Premium Economy beyond Dubai, with onward connections to destinations such as Mumbai, Bangalore, and Singapore.

Moreover, travelers heading to United Airlines’ hubs in Chicago, Houston, and San Francisco can enjoy Emirates’ Premium Economy before connecting to a wide range of domestic and international destinations across the US, Canada, and Latin America. The updated Boeing 777s feature six or eight First Class suites, 38 or 40 Business Class seats in a 1-2-1 arrangement, 24 Premium Economy seats, and 256 Economy Class seats. The refreshed interiors boast a blend of sophisticated designs and new color palettes, with enhancements in the carpeting, wall panels, and wood finishes, providing a modern and elegant atmosphere for all passengers.
