The European Commission has announced the finalists for the esteemed 2025 European Capital and Green Pioneer of Smart Tourism Awards, recognizing cities that excel in sustainable and innovative tourism practices. These awards highlight the dedication to fostering a thriving and responsible tourism industry across Europe.
From a pool of 21 applicants representing 10 diverse countries, seven cities have been chosen as finalists for the 2025 European Capital of Smart Tourism. The finalists, listed alphabetically, are:
