Estee Lauder Companies Launches ‘Pink Ribbon’ Campaign for Breast Cancer Awareness

For 32 years, Estee Lauder Companies has been at the forefront of the fight against breast cancer, using the iconic pink ribbon as a symbol for their mission. Through information sharing, charity cosmetics, and fundraising efforts, they have dedicated themselves to supporting breast cancer research.

This year, the campaign returns with the theme “Beautiful Bonds, for a World Without Breast Cancer.” To participate in this impactful campaign, Estee Lauder Companies is offering a special collection of charity cosmetics from six of their brands: Estee Lauder, Aveda, Bobbi Brown, Clinique, La Mer, and Jo Malone London. Starting October 1st, a portion of the proceeds from these products will be donated to organizations like the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF) and the Japan Breast Cancer Research Group (JBCRG).

In addition to charity cosmetics, the campaign features spectacular visual events, including a landmark illumination and drone shows. On October 1st, Tokyo Tower and Tokyo Skytree will be lit in pink, symbolizing hope and unity. Accompanying this visual spectacle, two drone shows will be held at Zojoji Temple. On October 30th, the event will be extended to Kyoto, with a pink illumination and drone show at Kiyomizu-dera Temple.

For those who want to contribute virtually, there’s an Instagram challenge running from October 1st to 31st. Simply post an image related to the Breast Cancer Campaign, featuring the pink ribbon, illuminated landmarks, or the charity cosmetics, and tag @esteelaudercompanies and @esteelauderjapan, along with the hashtag #TimeToEndBreastCancer. For every post, Estee Lauder Companies will donate $25 to the BCRF and ¥2,500 to the JBCRG, with a maximum donation of $75,000 and ¥1,000,000, respectively.
