The actress chose a stunning piece from Ashdeen’s ‘Wildflowers’ collection, a testament to the designer’s commitment to reviving traditional crafts. The saree, crafted from raw silk, showcased elegant tanchoi edging and intricate floral embroidery featuring columbines, forget-me-nots, and clematis blooms. The delicate embroidery brought the fabric to life, adding a touch of romanticism to the ensemble. Interestingly, Ashdeen previously designed a similar lace bodysuit for Vogue India’s September cover star Priyanka Chopra, paired with a black sari with parsi gara, highlighting the designer’s talent for blending tradition with contemporary aesthetics.
Pednekar paired her black and gold saree with a lace glove sleeve blouse, embracing the current trend of lace’s kitschy feminine vibe. Karisma Kapoor looked elegant in a cream-hued silk saree by Anita Dongre, adorned with intricate gota patti embroidery and embellishments of pearls, sequins, and anchored French knots.
