Riya Arvinda Barde, better known by her stage name Arohi Barde, found herself on the wrong side of the law on Thursday when she was apprehended in Thane, Maharashtra. The Bangladeshi adult film actress was arrested by Mumbai Police for residing illegally in India using fraudulent documents.
According to reports from PTI, the arrest followed a tip-off regarding Riya Barde’s true identity and her alleged involvement in a case of cheating and forgery. Acting on this information, the Hill Line police station registered an FIR against her. The charges against Riya include sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) related to cheating, forgery, and common intention, as well as violations of the Foreigners Act.
