Intel’s Core Ultra 200 Series ‘Arrow Lake-S’ CPUs Surface on Taobao

The excitement around Intel’s next-generation Core Ultra 200 series ‘Arrow Lake-S’ desktop CPUs continues to build! This time, the processors have been spotted on Taobao, a major Chinese e-commerce platform, in their engineering sample (ES) form. This leak offers a glimpse into the upcoming processor series, confirming details previously revealed in leaks and rumors.

The new ‘Arrow Lake-S’ processors will be based on the new LGA 1851 socket, and the flagship Core Ultra 9 285K model is expected to go head-to-head with AMD’s recently launched Zen 5-based Ryzen 9000 series CPUs, though not the upcoming Ryzen 7 9800X3D model scheduled for October.

Leaker ‘haruzake5719’ shared a product link on Taobao, revealing the presence of these early ‘Arrow Lake-S’ ES processors. The leaked images of these ES chips align with previous leaks, showing the same ‘QDF4’ identifier, the familiar integrated heat spreader (IHS), and the characteristic cutouts at the bottom and top of the chip. The inscription ‘INTEL CONFIDENTIAL NA QDF4’ is clearly visible on the chip. These ES processors are currently being sold on Taobao for ¥196807.18.

However, these are just engineering samples, so the retail Core Ultra 200 series ‘Arrow Lake-S’ processors will carry the official branding on their IHS. We can expect the official launch of these highly anticipated processors sometime next month. The wait is almost over, folks!
