NVIDIA App Exits Beta Soon, Consolidating GeForce Experience Features

NVIDIA has announced that its new NVIDIA App, currently in beta, will be exiting beta before the end of the year. This app is designed to replace both the aging NVIDIA Control Panel and the GeForce Experience app, offering a consolidated platform for managing graphics settings and enhancing gaming experiences. The company plans to migrate all remaining GeForce Experience users to the new NVIDIA App once it launches out of beta.

This latest update brings a plethora of new features and refinements. The NVIDIA App now includes all of the in-depth Display Settings from the NVIDIA Control Panel, presented in a modern and user-friendly interface. The update also introduces G-SYNC controls, bringing more comprehensive display management to the app. NVIDIA has confirmed that in future updates, Surround options, custom resolutions, and multi-monitor options will be added, making the NVIDIA App a complete replacement for the Control Panel.

One of the standout features of the NVIDIA App is RTX HDR, an AI-powered tool that dynamically adds HDR capabilities to thousands of non-HDR games, significantly enhancing visual fidelity. Previously, RTX HDR didn’t function on multi-display setups, but this latest update resolves that issue.

The NVIDIA App also focuses on enhancing customization and performance insights. Users can now alter the font color, size, and placement of performance overlays, allowing for a more personalized experience. The app also includes expanded Optimal Settings options for games, app-specific driver options, and new filters to manage and organize games and apps.

Furthermore, the update introduces a highly requested feature – the ability to roll back to a previously installed driver. This provides users with more control over their system’s performance and stability.

The NVIDIA App update arrives alongside the latest GeForce Game Ready 565.90 WHQL driver release, ensuring optimal performance and compatibility for gamers. This marks a significant milestone for NVIDIA, bringing together the functionality of two popular apps into a single, streamlined platform that promises enhanced user experiences and greater control over graphics settings.
