Rotterdam to Host Convening EMEA 2025, Focusing on Resilience and Innovation

The PCMA, led by President and CEO Sheriff Karamat, CAE, has officially selected Rotterdam as the host city for Convening EMEA 2025. This dynamic event, known for its focus on urban and societal transformation, perfectly aligns with Rotterdam’s commitment to fostering resilience and innovation.

Convening EMEA is a leading omnichannel gathering where business events professionals and creatives come together to share insights, collaborate, and drive a stronger, more sustainable future for the global events industry. The 2025 edition will be held from October 15th to 17th at the Postillion Hotel & Convention Centre WTC in Rotterdam, Netherlands.

This annual conference offers a platform for industry leaders to explore cutting-edge ideas, build connections, and shape the future of business events. The 2024 Convening EMEA attracted a record-breaking 636 participants from 46 countries, who participated in an innovative program focused on key themes of the future, trust, and strategy. Attendees could customize their learning journeys, immersing themselves in topics most relevant to their professional growth.

These themes, particularly the emphasis on the future, will continue to play a central role in 2025. New insights will be developed based on community feedback, ensuring the event remains relevant and impactful for all attendees.

“This partnership with Rotterdam, a city of resilience, is the perfect backdrop for the next step in our journey within the EMEA region and Convening EMEA as we will continue to challenge mindsets and approaches to the business events industry. Convening EMEA will continue to showcase the exceptional cities across the region in years to come on this journey of exploration and learning,” said Jaime Bennett, EMEA and EMA Managing Director.
