The clash erupted on Friday in the dense Abhujmaad forest, situated along the border of Narayanpur and Dantewada districts. According to reports from ANI, security forces have recovered seven bodies and a significant amount of automatic weapons from the site. The encounter is ongoing, with a joint team of security personnel from both Narayanpur and Dantewada engaged in the operation. Fortunately, all security personnel involved in the action are reported to be safe.

This encounter follows a significant development on Thursday, when security forces successfully raided a Naxalite camp in the Sukma district, also located within the Bastar region. The raid resulted in the seizure of a substantial cache of explosives and other materials, a testament to the ongoing efforts to dismantle Naxalite operations in the area.
