The highly anticipated rematch between ONE Lightweight Kickboxing World Champion Alexis Nicolas and former champion Regian Eersel is set to take place at ONE Fight Night 25 on October 5th. The event will be held at the iconic Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, and promises to be a night filled with thrilling action.
Nicolas, known as “Barboza,” shocked the world in their first meeting this past April when he defeated Eersel by unanimous decision, ending “The Immortal’s” incredible 22-fight winning streak and claiming the lightweight kickboxing crown. Now, Nicolas seeks to prove that his victory was no fluke and defend his title against a hungry Eersel determined to reclaim his throne.
The co-main event features a high-stakes flyweight Muay Thai battle between Thailand’s Kongthoranee Sor Sommai and Russia’s Tagir Khalilov. Kongthoranee, aiming to bounce back from a recent defeat, will be looking to make a statement against Khalilov, known for his aggressive fighting style.
