On Saturday, October 5, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat delivered a powerful message of Hindu unity during a ‘Swayamsevak Ekatrikaran’ event in Baran, Rajasthan. Addressing the gathering, Bhagwat stressed the paramount importance of overcoming internal divisions within the Hindu community, arguing that such unity is essential for the community’s security.
He declared, “We are the sons of ‘Bharat Mata’ and therefore, we will die for it. The Hindu community is responsible for India because India is a Hindu nation. Hindu people have been living here since ancient times.”
Bhagwat further emphasized the historical and cultural identity of India as a Hindu nation. He acknowledged the long-standing presence of Hindus in the country, tracing their roots back to ancient times, even though the term ‘Hindu’ emerged later. “We have lived here since ancient times, though the term — Hindu — came later. The term Hindu has been used for all the sects residing in India. Hindus regard everyone as their own and accept all. A Hindu says that we are right, and you, too, are right in your place. With continuous dialogue and goodwill, we must live together harmoniously,” he said.
Bhagwat highlighted the inclusive nature of Hindu society, stating that “Hindus embrace everyone. They live in harmony through continuous dialogue.” He then went on to call for a united front, urging the Hindu community to address internal conflicts and divisions based on language, caste, and regional differences. “Hindu society must unite for its security by eliminating language, caste, and regional differences and disputes,” he concluded.
