Frontier Lithium Secures $6.1 Million in Funding for PAK Lithium Project Infrastructure

Frontier Lithium Inc. is thrilled to announce that it has secured up to $6.1 million in funding from the Government of Canada to support vital infrastructure projects at its PAK Lithium Project in Northwestern Ontario. This funding, awarded through the Critical Minerals Infrastructure Fund (CMIF), marks a significant step towards realizing the project’s full potential.

The funding will be allocated to two key projects: the pre-construction of a 56-kilometer, two-lane all-season mine access road and the engineering, design, and permitting studies for a substation and transmission line. These infrastructure projects will play a crucial role in connecting the PAK Lithium Project to the Ontario highway system and ensuring a reliable power supply for the operation.

Frontier Lithium is committed to working collaboratively with local and Indigenous communities throughout the development process. The company recognizes the importance of Indigenous engagement and its dedication to advancing reconciliation. The federal funding highlights the government’s commitment to supporting the development of critical minerals resources while fostering sustainable development and community benefits.

This investment aligns perfectly with Frontier Lithium’s vision of becoming a leading domestic supplier of lithium chemicals to the growing electric vehicle and energy storage markets across North America. The PAK Lithium Project is poised to play a vital role in meeting this demand and supporting the transition to a cleaner energy future.

The PAK Lithium Project boasts North America’s highest-grade lithium reserves and is the largest in Ontario. Exploration continues to reveal promising lithium deposits, further solidifying the project’s potential. With a 24-year project life and a post-tax NPV(8%) of US$1.74 billion, the PAK Lithium Project is well-positioned to become a significant contributor to the global lithium market.

Frontier Lithium’s commitment to responsible development, coupled with the support of the Canadian government, positions the PAK Lithium Project as a critical driver of economic growth and clean energy development in Northwestern Ontario and beyond.
