Setting up the Qrevo Curv is a breeze. Simply plug it in, scan a QR code, and you’re good to go. The robot will then diligently map your floorplan, allowing you to further customize it through the companion app. This app lets you label different areas, set restricted zones, and fine-tune your cleaning preferences to the nth degree. You can adjust everything from suction levels and water flow to cleaning routes and the number of passes. I opted for the SmartPlan feature, which intelligently adjusts cleaning settings based on detected dirt levels. This took the guesswork out of floor care, ensuring every surface was meticulously cleaned. The SmartPlan consistently delivered outstanding results, leaving me with little need for manual vacuuming. You can also manage various dock settings, including wash time, drying duration, and more, solidifying the Curv’s reputation as one of the most customizable robots on the market.
Vacuuming Champion
During my testing, the Curv’s vacuuming performance truly stood out. While the swinging mopping pad effectively tackles hard floors, it’s the 18,500Pa of suction that truly makes this robot shine. My home is filled with dense, high-pile carpets, and many robot vacuums struggle to penetrate deep between the fibers. I’ve always found myself resorting to manual vacuuming even when using a robot. But not with the Qrevo Curv. It effortlessly navigated every nook and cranny, utilizing its impressive suction to remove even the most stubborn fur and debris. The clean it delivered was remarkably thorough, leaving behind cleaner carpets than even my trusty cordless vacuum.
Maintaining the robot is incredibly easy thanks to the DuoDivide Brush, which effectively funnels hair and strings to a central gap, preventing clogging. The FlexiArm side brush has been redesigned to feature a new bristle with a rubber stopper, minimizing tangles. Throughout weeks of testing, I experienced zero clogs or jams. However, I did have to deal with the Curv’s adventurous spirit. It’s essential to keep a close eye on the Curv during its initial runs to prevent it from turning into a mountain climber and scaling unwanted obstacles.
A Dock That Does It All
Like its premium counterparts, the Qrevo Curv returns to its dock after cleaning to recharge and empty its dustbin. The replaceable dustbag in the dock offers a respectable seven-week lifespan before requiring replacement. The dock’s functionality extends beyond charging and emptying. It uses warm water to rinse the mops until all dirt is removed, followed by a drying cycle that uses air to ensure the mops are completely dry. During this process, built-in scrapers clean the dock’s bottom, ensuring all debris from the mops is washed away. If the dock ever gets too dirty, it can be easily removed and rinsed in your sink or bathtub. While the dock doesn’t offer any groundbreaking features, it does boast a revolutionary new design. It’s a futuristic, curved structure, reminiscent of a robotic igloo. This design might be divisive, but I personally find it quite appealing. If you prefer a more traditional design, Roborock offers the Qrevo Edge, which provides the same features as the Curv but with a more conventional footprint.

The L40 Ultra automatically detaches its mops and leaves them behind in the docking station, a neat feature. But for a comprehensive solution that excels across all types of flooring, the Roborock Qrevo Curv stands out as a top contender.
