The day began with Australia striking early, removing Indian captain Soham Patwardhan (63) in the third over. However, Harvansh and Mohamed Enaan steadied the ship with a crucial 54-run partnership for the seventh wicket. The innings took a turn for the dramatic when N. Samarth, hitting two consecutive sixes, and Chetan Sharma were dismissed in the same over by Lachlan Ranaldo.
