IHG and Daiwa House Break Ground on Dual-Branded Hotel in Orlando

IHG Hotels & Resorts (IHG) and Daiwa House Group have taken a major step forward in Orlando’s booming hospitality scene, breaking ground on a new dual-branded hotel. The property, set to open its doors in 2026, will feature both EVEN Hotels and Staybridge Suites, offering a unique blend of amenities for both business and leisure travelers.

Strategically located near the highly anticipated Universal Epic Universe theme park and the Orange County Convention Center, the EVEN Hotel and Staybridge Suites Orlando Universal Blvd. is poised to become a prime destination for visitors seeking both comfort and convenience. The hotel will boast a total of 288 guest rooms, each meticulously designed to cater to specific needs. Staybridge Suites will offer upscale residential-style studios and suites, perfect for extended stays, while EVEN Hotels will focus on wellness amenities and its signature sleep experience, ensuring a restful and rejuvenating stay.

For business travelers, the hotel provides over 4,000 square feet of meeting space, ideal for conferences and corporate gatherings. Beyond the guest rooms, the hotel will feature a range of amenities to enhance the guest experience. Spacious public areas provide a welcoming atmosphere for relaxation, while an outdoor pool offers a refreshing escape from the Florida sun. The EVEN athletic studio provides an opportunity for guests to maintain their fitness routines during their stay. A variety of fresh and nutritious food options will be available, including the EVEN Kitchen & Bar restaurant and The Staybridge Suites Social, a complimentary happy hour event.

The hotel’s location offers easy access to a wide array of attractions beyond Universal Epic Universe, including popular theme parks, dining, entertainment, and shopping options. This project represents a significant milestone in the ongoing collaboration between IHG and Daiwa House Group. It also highlights Daiwa House Group’s growing presence in the U.S. market. The project is being developed in partnership with AC Hotel Developers and designed by the architecture firm Baskervill, ensuring a high standard of design and construction.

This dual-branded hotel is just the latest addition to IHG’s expanding portfolio in Orlando. In August 2024, IHG announced plans for a Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants property in the Westcourt mixed-use development near the Kia Center arena. Additionally, a luxury InterContinental Hotels & Resorts property is expected to open on International Drive in 2028, further solidifying IHG’s position as a major player in Orlando’s dynamic hospitality landscape.
