The Dispensoria, located at 58 Exchange Street, is set to open its doors to customers this Thursday. Co-founder Cheech Marin emphasizes that The Dispensoria is about more than just buying cannabis – it’s about immersing customers in a world where cannabis culture is celebrated with fun and laughter. “We wanted to create a space that’s welcoming, laid-back, and makes the whole experience enjoyable from the moment you walk through the door,” Marin shared.
Tommy Chong echoes the sentiment, adding, “We wanted to give people a place where they can smile while they shop. The opening of The Dispensoria follows a trend of new cannabis shops opening across the United States. In Connecticut, Higher Collective will be opening its newest location in Bridgeport on Friday, October 11th. The grand opening festivities will include a ribbon-cutting ceremony led by Mayor Joe Ganim.

Canadian cannabis giant High Tide Inc. is also expanding its reach, with its Canna Cabana retail cannabis store in Toronto opening on Sunday, October 13th. This marks High Tide’s 185th Canna Cabana branded retail cannabis location in Canada, adding to the company’s growing presence across the country.
