Accor Strengthens Australian Presence with 40+ Hotel Renewals and Major Investments

Accor, Australia’s leading hotel operator, has solidified its position in the market by securing the renewal of agreements with over 40 Australian hotels. This significant move covers more than 5,500 rooms across its portfolio, demonstrating Accor’s commitment to investing in the region and fostering strong relationships with its partners.

Since early 2022, Accor Pacific and its partners have poured over $450 million into renovations and refurbishments, highlighting the collaborative spirit that drives their success. This dedication is evident in recent partnerships, such as the long-term franchise deal with Silversea Investments. This agreement includes substantial refurbishment plans for Novotel Sydney Parramatta and the rebranding of Mercure Sydney Parramatta to Novotel Sydney Rosehill, both slated for significant upgrades.

Adding to its portfolio of luxury accommodations, the prestigious Sofitel Noosa Pacific Resort, a five-star hotel on the Sunshine Coast, has extended its partnership with Accor. This collaboration will see the resort unveil renovation plans, further enhancing its prominent position on Noosa’s iconic Hastings Street.

Accor’s network, now exceeding 350 hotels across Australia, owes much of its success to its strong relationships with both local and international hotel owners. To further strengthen its operations, Accor has strategically placed additional leaders in key cities across the Pacific region, enabling faster decision-making and more efficient resource allocation.

With over three decades of experience in franchising, Accor’s expertise continues to offer significant advantages to hotel owners navigating an increasingly competitive market. The company’s unwavering commitment to innovation, coupled with its strong partnerships, positions Accor as a leading force in the Australian hospitality industry.
