Mumbai Dussehra 2024: Traffic Advisory and Parking Restrictions

Get ready for a joyous Dussehra celebration in Mumbai! But before you head out to the festivities, make sure you’re aware of the traffic arrangements put in place by the Mumbai Police. To ensure a smooth and safe Dussehra Mela on October 12th, the police have announced road closures, diversions, and parking restrictions in the Shivaji Park area.

Road Closures and Diversions:

SVS Road:

The stretch from Siddhivinayak Temple Junction to Kapad Bazaaar Junction in Mahim will be closed. You can opt for an alternative route using Siddhivinayak Junction, SK Bole Road, Agar Bazaar, Gokhale Road, and Portuguese Church Gate.

Keluskar Marg (North Junction):

This road will be closed from Raja Bade Chowk. Commuters can use LJ Road, Steel Man Junction, and Gokhale Road as alternatives.

Dadar Road:

If you’re travelling from Gadkari Chowk Junction to Keluskar Road (South), take the MB Raut route.

Senapati Bapat Marg:

Traffic will be diverted from Senapati Bapat Marg to LJ Marg, and then to Manorama Nagarkar Marg at the junction.

Parking Restrictions:

LJ Road:

Parking is prohibited from Rajbade Junction to Gadkari Junction.

SVS Road:

Parking is restricted from Siddhivinayak Temple Junction to Yes Bank.

NC Kelkar Marg (Dadar):

No parking will be allowed from Gadkari to Hanuman Temple Junction.

Keluskar Road (South and North) Dadar:

Parking is prohibited on this road.

Lt Dilip Gupte Marg (Dadar):

Parking is restricted from Gadkari Junction to Hanuman Temple Junction.

MB Raut Road:

Parking is prohibited from its junction with SVS Road.

Dadasaheb Rege Marg:

Parking is restricted from Senapati Bapat Statue to Gadkari Junction.

Pandurang Naik Road:

Parking is prohibited from MB Raut Road.
