Get ready for the vibrant celebration of Dussehra, but keep in mind that some travel adjustments might be necessary in key cities. Both Mumbai and Noida have announced traffic restrictions to ensure smooth flow during the festivities on Saturday, October 12, and Sunday, October 13.

Mumbai’s Traffic Plan

The Mumbai Police has issued a traffic advisory for the Dussehra rally led by Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, scheduled at Shivaji Park on Saturday. These restrictions will be in effect from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Here’s a breakdown of road closures and alternative routes:

Siddhivinayak Temple Junction to Kapad Bazaar Junction (SVS Road):

This stretch will be closed. Commuters can use the Siddhivinayak Junction, SK Bole Road, Agar Bazaar, Gokhale Road, and Portuguese Church Gate route as an alternative.

Keluskar Marg in North Junction (from Raja Bade Chowk):

This area will be off-limits. Choose LJ Road, Steel Man Junction, and Gokhale Road as alternative routes.

If traveling on this route, consider the MB Raut route as a detour.

Noida has designated several no-entry zones for vehicles during Dussehra:
