Marriott International has officially arrived in Luxembourg, marking its debut with the opening of its first hotel in the country. The new property, strategically located within easy reach of the airport terminal through an indoor walkway, offers a modern and stylish experience for travelers.
Guests can choose from 129 contemporary rooms, each designed with comfort and convenience in mind. The hotel also boasts a vibrant Bar Moxy, perfect for unwinding after a long journey or enjoying a lively evening with friends. For those seeking fresh air and a touch of local charm, the hotel features an inviting open-air terrace complete with a petanque court.
But this is just the beginning for Marriott in Luxembourg. The company is set to further expand its presence in the country with the opening of the Luxembourg Marriott Hotel Alfa by the end of this year. This upcoming 153-room hotel will be situated on Place de la Gare, directly across from Luxembourg’s main railway station.
Previously known as the Hotel Mercure Grand Hotel Alfa Luxembourg, the building will be transformed under Marriott’s vision. The design will pay homage to the building’s rich history, incorporating art deco elements from its 1930s heritage. These features will be reflected throughout the lobby, M Club, and guestrooms, creating a seamless blend of classic elegance and modern comfort.
Guests at the Luxembourg Marriott Hotel Alfa will have access to a fully equipped fitness center, five versatile meeting rooms, and the Brasserie Alfa, a French-inspired dining venue showcasing original artworks by renowned Luxembourg artist Julien Lefèvre. The hotel promises a unique and enriching experience, combining the charm of Luxembourg’s past with the modern comforts of a Marriott hotel.
